Gongura Pickle
Code : P9875

Gongura pickle, also known as Gongura Pachadi or Gongura Chutney, is a flavorful and tangy South Indian pickle made from Gongura leaves (also known as Roselle leaves or sorrel leaves). These leaves, with their characteristic sour taste, are the star ingredient, combined with spices like red chilies, mustard seeds, fenugreek, and garlic, and cooked in oil. The pickle is known for its bold, tangy, and spicy flavor, making it a popular accompaniment to rice, roti, and other South Indian dishes. While primarily known for its taste, Gongura leaves are also a good source of iron, vitamins, and antioxidants. The pickle is often enjoyed for its ability to increase appetite and potentially help with digestion.
