Gunda Keri
Code : P9484

Gunda Keri is a popular traditional Indian dish, primarily a pickle (athanu) or vegetable preparation (sabzi), enjoyed in Gujarat and Rajasthan during the summer. It combines Gunda (Glue Berry), a sticky, mildly sour fruit, with tangy raw mango (keri). The pickle involves stuffing deseeded Gunda with spices like fenugreek, mustard, and chili powder, and is preserved in oil, imparting a tangy, spicy, and slightly sweet flavor. The sabzi, a flavorful and healthful preparation, features the same main ingredients cooked with spices. This seasonal delicacy, known for its digestive and immunity-boosting properties, is typically served alongside meals like roti, paratha, or rice.
