Regional Production: Sourced from the Bodo regions of Assam, where Eri sericulture is a traditional household activity, ensuring authentic tribal craftsmanship. 

Type: 100% Pure Eri Silk.
Ethical Appeal: Often called Ahimsa Silk (Non-violent silk), as the yarn is spun only after the silkworm leaves the cocoon. 

Base Fabric: Hand-spun Eri silk yarn, known for its soft, wool-like texture and earthy matte finish.
Ornamentation: High-quality dyed cotton or silk threads used for the intricate extra-weft border patterns.

Temperature Regulation: Naturally keeps the wearer warm in winters and cool in summers due to its unique thermal properties.
Skin-Friendly: Hypoallergenic and gentle on the skin, making it ideal for those with sensitivities.

Hand-Loom Weaving: Created on a traditional wooden loom using the Phul-Ghat or extra-weft technique.

Boro (Bodo) Tribe: Handcrafted by Bodo women weavers, for whom weaving is a sacred cultural skill passed down through generations.

First Wash: Dry clean recommended for the first wash to maintain the crispness of the woven patterns.
Subsequent Care: Gentle hand wash in cold water using a mild silk-safe detergent.
Drying: Air dry in a shaded area. Avoid direct sunlight as it may cause the natural peach/red tones to fade.
Ironing: Iron on the reverse side on a low-to-medium heat setting to protect the raised thread work.
