750 / Piece Description :
Alba Champa (Plumeria alba), or White Frangipani, is a tropical deciduous shrub or small tree reaching up to 25 feet in height. It is highly prized for its clusters of showy, five-petaled white flowers with golden-yellow centres, which emit a sweet, intoxicating fragrance that intensifies at night to attract pollinators. The plant features distinctive thick, succulent branches topped with long, leathery, dark-green leaves arranged in spirals. Native to the Caribbean but now widely naturalized in India and Southeast Asia, it thrives in full sunlight and well-draining soil, showing remarkable drought tolerance once established. Often found near temples due to its symbolic association with purity and devotion, the plant also produces a milky, toxic sap when its branches are bruised or punctured.
