Native To The Caribbean But Now Widely Naturalized In India And Southeast Asia, It Thrives In Full Sunlight And Well-draining Soil, Showing Remarkable Drought Tolerance Once Established. Often Found Near Temples Due To Its Symbolic Association With Purity And Devotion, The Plant Also Produces A Milky, Toxic Sap When Its Branches Are Bruised Or Punctured.
